Pawsitivity Award #9

From Mr. Yoder:

Hello Bearcats!

I was so honored to be chosen by Julie Pocino last week, especially during the week of our Fall Concert. It was great to see so many PAWSitive BHS faculty and staff attend to support our choir students. As I shared in the concert, I am quickly coming to the understanding that Bonita is the GREATEST HIGH SCHOOL ON EARTH because of YOU!

Whether he is navigating COVID restrictions on performing, leading rehearsals outside, or facilitating Fall marching band events, Jeff Bird goes above and beyond to ensure our instrumental music students have opportunities to shine! Additionally, he graciously lended his percussion skills to play djembe for Chorale in both our concerts and this past week moved over our choir library file cabinets to the Student Union by himself. On a personal note, Jeff has been so welcoming to me and someone I am privileged to work with each day! Thank you Jeff for all the PAWSitive ways you uplift Bonita!

Watch Chamber Singers "surprise" Mr. Bird and sing the Alma Mater especially for him.

Yours in music,

Mr. Ryan Yoder, M.A.
