Hello Bearcats!
It is my pleasure to recognize and acknowledge Ms. Whitney Raleigh for the amazing work that she does in her classroom. She has created a welcoming and positive learning environment for her students. It is easy to see why Ms. Raleigh’s students adore and respect her. She also participates at many Bonita extracurricular events outside of school hours. Our students are so lucky to have passionate educators like Ms. Raleigh in our wonderful special education department.

Career and Community Resources Fair! 3/18
Next month we will be hosting the 2nd Annual Career and Community Resources Fair on Monday, March 18th from 6pm-8pm at San Dimas High School. This event will include opportunities for summer employment, internships, community service, and community resources. This is ideal for our current Juniors looking for PACE project hours!
I have placed the attached flyer in your box to help encourage student participation!

Retro Game Played - LittleBigPlanet PS Vita
This was a relaxing play through. The simple platformer had creative levels. The Marvel Super Hero Edition let me use Ironman as Sackboy. Orginially released in November 2014. Completed in February 2024 on the PlayStation Vita.

Bonita Boys Varsity Basketball 2024 League Champs
Both teams entered Wednesday night with a 9-1 record in the league. With Bonita having lost to Glendora in the first meeting, and that we were down 14 points with under 3-minutes, the Bearcats kept fighting to force overtime. By winning 68-62, Bonita secured another league championship in one of the most thrilling games I've seen in person. From 1/31/2024

Thank You Lucus
Thank you Lucus for your gifts, I'm excited to open the minifigs. I have the pleasure of having Lucus in Pre-Calc this year and I also had his twin sisters Angelina and Sophia in my AP Stats class two years ago. Their mom send me a very kind email recently and share that the sisters are thriving in college.

I want to express my sincere gratitude Julie for your kind words. Thank you
Being a part of the BHS team is truly something special, and your acknowledgment means a lot. I'm particularly thrilled that my skill as a cricket catcher has been officially recognized. Having worked in nearly every school within our district (except for one), I can honestly say that BHS is one of my favorites (don't tell the other sites, I still have to work at some of them).
I nominate Dani Robinson. I have had a few opportunities to observe students in his classroom. Every time I've had the pleasure of visiting Dani Robinson's classroom, it's been a positive experience. Dani's commitment to advocating for his students' needs and providing unwavering support is truly commendable. He makes learning exciting, keeps his students engaged, and seeks out suggestions to better support his students. I have had many student tell me his class is their favorite.
Dani, your positive presence at Bonita is invaluable, and I'm grateful to have you as part of the team this year. Thank you for the positive atmosphere you bring to BHS.

Pawsitivity Award #67
Thank you to Veronica for her kind words. I agree that we have a wonderful staff here and I have enjoyed working here for many years. On that note, I would like to pass the pawsitivity award to Bhavini F. I was lucky enough to meet Bhavini last year when she was observing a student in my class. For some reason, the cricket choir was in full force that day and it was getting a bit annoying. Without hesitation, Bhavini, sprang into action and went on the hunt for the crickets. She ended up finding them under my refrigerator and moving them outside. This was certainly above and beyond the scope of her job, but it just goes to show Bhavini’s positive attitude and willingness to help in any situation.
Whether she is picking up trash in the quad after lunch, or working with our students and staff, Bhavini is a positive presence here. Thank you Bhavini for all that you do and for spreading positivity wherever you go!
