A Shoe Adoption Project Update: Nine more pairs of shoes (and potentially up to 12 pairs) will be donated by the end of this week. This will be our biggest donation batch to date! The lead case manager from an Upland homeless shelter gave me the shoe sizes of her children clients earlier this week. It is my goal to deliver the shoes by the end of the week, in time for some of these children to have new shoes on their first day of school.
