On my way into the Arcadia 24 Hour Fitness, a gentleman say hi. I recognized him, Beza, in an instant. He was my student from roughly 22 years ago. Marshall Fundamental Secondary School (Algebra 2) from 2004-05. Beza was a junior so he graduated 2006. He was the first cohort of students I had as a public high school teacher. From 8/10/2025. *The photo above (Beza in white t-shirt, me in red) should have been during spring break of 2005 when I took a small group to UC Irvine for a day trip.
