Pawsitivity Award #33

Good afternoon Bearcats,

Last week, I was humbled and totally taken by surprise to receive the Pawsitivity Award that Laura Ruiz handed over to me. Thank you for this honor, Laura, it is truly a privilege and the blessing that each of us bring to being a bearcat. Now into a new week, I cannot miss out on the joy of recognizing Laura Montenegro, who continually demonstrates her spirit and ability to persevere with coworkers and students in new and old ways, through academics and sports in her “beautifully” unique and loving way, always with the best outlook. Laura Montenegro, you give us and the students the best gift of all –you, your smile and your heart, believing and living your purpose here at Bonita for over thirty years. We are lucky to have you. Thank you, Laura, for showing us your leadership, your resiliency, often unacknowledged, to bring people together, to grow, to learn, to teach and to smile. You’re beautiful!

We love you.
