On Thursday, I emailed two local nonprofit shelters that serve homeless families and children: Foothill Family Shelter in Upland and Inland Valley Hope Partners in Pomona. I offered to them our donations of new shoes. Within the hour, I received replies from the directors from both organizations. They will communicate with their respective lead case managers to get the proper shoe sizes for the children in need. More to follow.
