Cleaning out the classroom over the summer, I come across objects that bring back memories of my student interactions. This book safe was a gift from Jade C. a few years ago. Jade was a tall and athletic student who played volleyball and was on our school's dance team. She was also very proud of her bicultural background. Her dad is of Chinese-Mexican descent. Jade give me this book safe for Christmas. Thank you, Jade.
