Retro Gaming 2021 - N64 Controllers

These really bring back nostalgic memories.  My friends and I played many hours of Nintendo 64 near the end of our high school senior year and in the first years of college.  The generic USB controllers here are high quality from Amazon and feel as good as the authentic controllers from the late 90's.  I got permission to allow some game time for senior AP Math students after the AP exam, these controllers worked great for the N64 Mario Kart. Bonita Baseball Senior Night 2021

We had a walk-off double to drive in two RBI's.  A great comeback from 2-3 to win 4-3 over a previously undefeated Ayala squad.  This was one of the most exciting baseball games I've seen in person.  (From May 27th, 2021)

Post AP Exam Time 2021

After reviewing recent AP Statistics/Calculus exam FRQs, I got permission to allow some game time for the AP students.  We played miniature pool (Antonio above), chopstick Jenga, and Mario Kart 64.  We just want to spend some face to face time together during this unique year.  (From May 24 and 25, 2021)

Bonita Varsity Baseball 2021

One of the sports that I watched the most this year is varsity baseball.  My classroom and the staff parking lot is next to our varsity baseball field.  On afternoons with games, it is a relaxing environment to watch a few innings of baseball.  (From May 21st, 2021)

Bonita Dance Classes Showcase 2021

D Street SZN X - Bonita Dance Showcase 2021

The incredible Mrs. O'Grady pulls off one of the best dance shows in a year full of challenges.  She gave credit to her resilient performers who endured online auditions, Zoom practices, and virtual competitions.  D Street SZN X (Season 10) is full of gritty characters.  They performed passionately and delivered an energetic show to a lucky audience.  I was particularly happy to see my students Savana B. and Kaylee H. on stage doing what they do.  Thank you D Street and Coach O.G.!!!
