Bethany filmed this silly moment with Tracy (with Margia and Lea).  I think the driver was Zhang and they were talking about a Tik-Tok personality named Ricky.  These crazy kids.  I reminded them to always drive carefully. They reminded me that they were eating Haagen-Dazs ice-cream.

A Meeting After 24 Years

Mr. Kilmer was my high school math teacher.  He was simply my favorite teacher at West Covina High School.  I had him for summer Geometry after my freshman year, I remember him recommending me to enroll into Algebra 2 Honors.  I was lucky enough to have him again in Pre-Calculus honors in my junior year (1995-1996).  Throughout my path to as a high school teacher, I have thought about Mr. Kilmer and his professional teaching methods countless number of times.  I got a chance to briefly speak to him at a life celebration event for the passing of a coach.  I thanked Mr. Kilmer and told him that I'm now a math teacher.  It was truly an emotional moment for me.  I learned that he has been enjoying retirement since 2000 after teacher for 36 years.  Thank you Mr. Kilmer.  (From 1/25/2020)

Remembering Coach Kenneth Wells

This was a loving celebration of the wonderful life of a coach.  My high school Coach Kemp Wells and his mom have made a tremendous impact on me as a teacher and as an athlete.  I have only met Kemp's dad Coach Kenneth Wells a handful of times, but he always knew my name, shook my hand with the strongest grip, and spoke with to me as if I was an important close family friend.  (From 1/25/2020)

Bonita Leadership Service Day 2020

On a Saturday, Class Councils, ASB, and a handful of Club executive boards volunteered on campus service projects, I requested some time from a few AP Math students to help me organize my AP Statistics FRQs (free-response questions).  I bought them Starbucks and they helped me cataloged many years of FRQs.  During their break, they even wrote me the cutest card.  Many thanks to Delaney, Roxy, and Brooke.  (From 1/25/2020)
