Wicked Finale
The end of this era of Wicked as we switch track workouts to Wednesday next week. Since April of 2025, I have only missed six Wicked Wednesdays, two of the six Wednesdays had no meetings (Christmas Eve and New Years Eve). Of the remaining four, two are Global Running Days where we met at 2025 as a group and I was helping LRC's Summer of Speed booth in 2026. Then there are two left, one was due to Parent Conferences in 2025, and the last one was the only one where I chose to visit the OC Fair with friends. I counted 64 Wicked Wednesdays that I've attended. During Ramin's daddy duties, I was given the task to help substitute the meetup. In many ways, Wicked Wed is my favorite running day of the week. The guys are fast, serious, and friendly. Many days, I was the slowest, but the speeders never made me felt so. I'll miss Wicked Wednesdays. Looking forward to more friends at track on Wednesdays from now on. From 8/26/2026

OC Fair & Racing Pigs

Picnic at Lacy Park
After our final summer morning workout at Chuze, we had a simple picnic at Lacy Park. I prepped coconut matcha cloud, potato chips, apples, and breakfast items from Porto's. It's been a warm week, but tolerable under the shade as we people watched. From 8/11/2026

Coconut Matcha Cloud
My first attempt at making Coconut Matcha Cloud. Mixed in a table spoon of matcha into a box of Kara coconut cream, a box of Kara coconut milk, and a touch of agave. The foam was served on top of ice and coconut water. Cathy and Marilyn approved. Served after a hot long run at the Lombardy Loops on August 7th, 2026. It coincided with a significant date for Marilyn.
