Gordon, Thomas, Marilyn, and I left Almansor Park shortly after 5:30am to meet with friends Phillip, Kyle, and Cindy to cheer on our marathoners. Misa paced James for another hot 26.2 milers just two weeks after they both completed the warm LA Marathon. The cheerful LRC Gas Station supported the runners at miles 9, 16, 18, and 26. We walked over 8 miles that day, including a trip to Smart n Final to pick up a cheesecake for Misa. Everyone had a fun and safe journey. We were awarded with another one of James's deep proverb.
