And while we are on the subject of Uprising. My team filmed the show last night, and while I don’t want to give away spoilers as to how the zombie apocalypse ends, something very cool happened after the show. First, Mr. Frederick honored one of his students for her excellence in theater. Congratulations to Alyssa Bird. And second, after that, Frederick talked about how great it was that we can do live theater again. This show is made even more awesome in that more than 1/3 of the cast and crew were new to the production (normally that number is 1/10). The ability of Michael to pull off a production with so many green students ties in nicely to everything that Bonita stands for: grit and determination.
