Back to Road Racing

This is my first road running race since lockdown.  I have done a few trail races this year, but the last road race I ran was the LA Marathon on March 8th, 2020.  That feels like a long time ago.  While I am not as fast as before, I felt very good today.  Today's run was very encouraging.  I stuck with the pacers for the first 5 miles, then gradually increased my pace for the last 5 miles.  Running in my new pair of Pegasus Turbo 2 helped.  I'm inspired to train more and try to improve while balancing my teacher role and my graduate coursework.
