Bonita Peer Tutoring Program on Zoom 2020

Free Peer Tutoring on Zoom begins November 2^nd.

·        Tutors are available in most subjects.

·        Students needing tutoring can attend by signing up the day of tutoring and receiving the zoom link.

·        Tutoring is available Mondays – Thursdays from 2:45-3:45 plus Wednesday evenings from 6-7pm.

Bonita Volleyball Club 2020

 

Kyle is a student in my AP Stats and AP Calc class.  He started a Bonita Volleyball Club this year.  While we are in remote instruction, he is still enthusiastic about the sport and playing with friends.  I was embarrassed of missing the first meeting.  I had agreed to host a Zoom meeting last Thursday but totally forgot.  Kyle was understanding and we rescheduled it on the following Tuesday.  I invited alumni volleyball players to join and was thrilled that Kimberly and Melissa dropped by to say hi from San Diego.  (From 10/27/2020)

A student's mother contacted me to observe my class.  She is in the process of earning her teaching credential.  Andrea's daughter Hannah was in my AP Calculus class two years ago, and her son Charlie is currently in my Honors PreCalculus class.  She later returned to give me a kind note and gift card.  Good luck Andrea!  I think she'll be a wonderful biology teacher.
