April is Autism Awareness Month

I strive to be a lifelong learner to be better informed.  As an undergraduate college student, I worked with many Autistic children before I was a professional educator.  I learned a lot through those experiences.  Here's a message from our special services on 4/4/2022...

Here in Specialized Services we are thrilled to celebrate April as Autism Acceptance Month! Please take a moment to peruse the attached for an Autism Simulation, Temple Grandin’s TedTalk and see how much you know by taking an Autism Quiz.

Retro Game Project - Retro Pie

I updated an older Raspberry Pie 3 Model B with a neat image.  The result is a competent retro gaming mini console.  Each small project is a learning experience on new software and hardware available for gaming.  (From 4/2/22)

Retro Game Played - Mario Kart Double Dash

I played Nintendo 64 version of Mario Kart throughout high school and college for countless hours.  It was a great way to spend time with family and friends.  The newer versions of this series bring back great memories.  (Played in April 2022).

Bonita Spring Rally 2022

Retro Game Played - Madworld

This is a hyper violent and vulgar video game, it's not for everyone.  Nonetheless, it's got an unique art style and is highly rated.  (Completed in March 2022)
